Happy Autumn everyone! Complete with classic hot ‘n’ cold weather!
We have settled into Yagan Square and are enjoying meeting a range of new customers. In just a few days it will be Honey Month – see below for all the details!
Tristan is away at the moment in Canberra. He was awarded an Emerging Leaders in Agriculture scholarship by WA Farmers and is in Canberra for the next two weeks! Please see below for the change in hours to the Maylands Shop – my apologies for the inconvenience having to change them, but between the two shops, there is only so many hours this Queenbee can do! Tristan also presented some preliminary results at the ChemCentres’ Research Extension Engagement conference and we enjoyed attending the honey themed dinner in the evening, each course featuring honey in some way.
The bees are safely in Watheroo at the moment, enjoying the warmer weather and the Powderbark that is showing promise. We are thinking of looking out at Menzies for the Goldfields Mallee or down south; there are rumours that there a patches of Karri flowering!
Honey Month is May and we are excited!
