Raw Honey - Great Victoria Desert Honey!
While our Head Drone was out on a survey in the Great Victoria Desert near Laverton, Western Australia, he came across a stand of Large-fruited Mallee (Euclyptus youngiana). With the heavy rains in April that almost flooded the town, these mallees are prolifically producing nectar to take advantage of the water (see video below).
We have made a video diary of the almost 2,000 km round-trip to harvest this honey for you.
A light to medium and rich honey, this is truly unique!
